Denise Wempe began her mediation career in 2008, bringing a strong foundation in business and finance to the field of alternative dispute resolution. With a degree in accounting and certification as a public accountant (CPA), she previously led an office of auditors where she regularly mediated disputes. Denise is registered with the Georgia Commission of Dispute Resolution (GODR) and is also a registered arbitrator with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). She has also provided court-appointed mediation services.
Denise is experienced in managing high-volume, ongoing disputes and has a strong ability to quickly understand new and complex cases. She has successfully mediated a broad range of matters, including personal injury, debt collection, employment, contract, landlord/tenant, and other civil disputes. Her experience also includes juvenile delinquency cases, deprivation matters (including custody disputes and foster care), and probate issues involving wills, guardianships, and custodial accounts. Additionally, Denise is registered to mediate Special Education cases and brings 15 years of experience from her work with the U.S. Department of Education.
